Zermatt's 360 km of pistes include some seriously challenging terrain. The Triftji bumps, Stockhorn off-piste, and the high-altitude itinerary routes demand respect and strong technique. The cross-border run to Cervinia adds variety.

Val d'Isère's Face de Bellevarde — the World Cup downhill — is one of the steepest marked runs in the Alps. The Grand Vallon and off-piste from the Pissaillas glacier offer expert terrain in a snow-sure environment.
